Carla Coley has have been a qualified social worker for over 10 years and has spent this time specialising in the adoption field. Carla is a certified Theraplay practitioner, certified Theraplay supervisor, Certified DDP Practitioner, and has assisted on Theraplay Training.
Carla has extensive experience and skills in providing therapeutic interventions, such as Theraplay, specialist parent support, and life story work. Carla is an experienced trainer and has developed and delivered therapeutic training for parents and professionals. She has specialist knowledge of attachment and developmental trauma.
Carla has experience of offering consultations and services to professionals such as teachers, foster cares, and social workers. Within this work she has provided bespoke packages of support including classroom observations, group work, consultations, and specialist training.
Carla has a strong passion for supporting families. She believes in supporting both the child and the parents to help improve family life. Carla lives in the North West of England and has 2 children.

As the director of Walking Together, Carla is responsible for the day-to-day running of the company and the development and delivery of services.
Bridget has forty years’ experience as a social worker. She has a respected national profile and is an author of a number of publications and interactive resources for direct work with children.
She has a breadth of experience across the statutory, voluntary and private sectors both in fostering and adoption. She has particular skills in assessment, supporting children and their families who have adopted or fostered, preparing children for permanence, life story work and direct work with children.
Bridget has a good understanding of the changing landscape of public care and adoption in the 21st century and the opportunities, demands and dilemmas this has placed both on service providers and users. She also brings to this field her own experience an adopted person.
In her spare time she enjoys photography and art, playing golf and the occasional pint of real ale.
As the non-executive director of Walking Together, Bridget will contribute to quality assurance, providing organisational oversight of the company.
